Introducing Nelson!!

This is my handsome new Russian baby, Nelson!!
He is approximately 2 months old and as cute as can be!  He was delivered to my house yesterday.  I'm in love already!!  He's so friendly and adventurous and he's a good eater too!

Omgosh! I want another one even more now!!!!!! Can you take a full picture of his enclosure? I wanna see it!  ;D Also, is he holding his tail out like that or to the side more?! He is ADORABLE!!!

His tail is usually to the side, but it is sticking out quite a bit in that picture!!
And yes I'll take a picture of his whole enclosure!

Also, someone just pointed out to me that it looks like he still has his egg tooth  :-\  I was told he was about 2 months old, although I just emailed the breeder to ask for the exact date he hatched.
Should I be concerned about him still having his egg tooth?

Why I asked is because males normally hold their tails to the side and the females striaght out. :)

Umm.... I'm not sure. I don't think you should have anything to worry about.... Maybe PM Joe, Dan, or Jules. Has the breeder answered back? Who was the breeder?

The breeder emailed me back and said she was unsure of the exact hatch date but it was in the middle of May.  She said he is about 10 weeks old  ???
The breeder is a woman named Trish- I found her on the Kingsnake classified ads.  She's very nice and responds to my emails promptly.  I'm just stumped as to why Nelson has an egg tooth!

It's impossible to sex them until they're full grown, right?  I'm just going to keep referring to Nelson as a boy and pretend ;)

Oh, I don't think at 10 weeks he would still have the egg tooth, but I'm not sure. Well, Joe has Kingsnake Classifieds on russiantortoise.org, so he probably finds them okay to go with. Did you tell her he still did?

And I know that their sexual features don't come out til they get older... but idk lol.

I wanted to confirm that Nelson has an egg tooth before I ask the breeder about it.
He's asleep for the night but I'll try to get a good picture of his cute little face tomorrow to post on here.

O he is just adorable. I just looked up Trish and sent a message about other babies (probably Nelson's siblings) because I want a baby RT so bad.
