different species can spread diseases to each other that they would other wise not get. it is not good to keep different species together at all.

I don't know this for sure, but I would venture that they may not be completely 100% gentically compatible. You might end up with some funky torts.

One of my Russian girls got out of her pen and I found her and my Western Ornate going at it on the patio.   :o  I waited for him to finish because I was afraid I could hurt one or both of them if I pulled them apart.  She's back in her enclosure with the other Russian torts.

Is there anything in particular I should watch for disease-wise?  Should I keep her separated from the other Russians for awhile?

That must have been a site to discover. ;) I'd just check the usual stuff (eyes, nose, poo, activity level, etc.) Maybe separate her for a couple of weeks. If nothing's apparent by that point, put her back in with the rest of the gang.
