I have a tortoise, Franklin, who sneezes from time to time. Not often at all, but I just notice it now and then. Today, he sneezed..and some berry pink-coloured liquid sprayed out of his nose or mouth. This is the first time I've seen this, although I may just not have paid attention before.

I fed him purple kale yesterday and today, so I'm thinking the pinkish colour of the liquid was maybe due to the kale? I don't know. Humans sneeze...is it also normal that torts sneeze and have things flying out of their nostrils?

There was an episode where he got lost in the garden for 1 week back in April, and it was a bit chilly. I don't think he caught a cold - He certainly doesn't act like he has RI. He's super active and eating lots.

I would think he is fine, if it continues I would take him in but if he has a RI you would prob know and it would be more than a few sneezes.
