Rotten Egg
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:19:15 AM »
This morning I noticed that one of my 5 RT eggs was rotten. I think it had some little holes in it, but the other four look fine. They all formed the white bubble which formed into a band around the egg, but so far there are no veins.

What would make that one get rotten? Does that mean it wasn't fertile? I'm just afraid my other eggs are headed for the same fate.

It happens to 1 or 2 of mine every year. Wait till one explodes when you pick it up.
Not necessarily infertile, but something definitely went wrong.

Thanks. That's good to know that they are not all infertile for some reason.
