Calcium for RT's
« on: August 29, 2010, 04:24:05 PM »
I've read conflicting info on the best way to get adequate calcium to my RT's.
Is the best way to dust their food, or provide cuttlebone and let them self-regulate?

Thanks
John

The best way is to feed high calcium weeds, plants, greens etc an keep cuttlebone with them at all times

Thanks. Any particular cuttlebone best for turtles?  I see some that are marketed as being specifically "for turtles."

The best is good old fashioned cuttlebone like they use for birds.

Avoid the flavored and gimmick stuff.
